Michael’s furious to find a nonchalant Janine has hired a nanny to look after Scarlett. Poppy’s worried when she overhears Michael calling Alice ‘amazing’, who’s offered help. Alice goes to Janine, determined to win Michael’s favour, but Janinewon’t listen. Hurt and angry, Michael says he’d do anything for someone he could reply upon. So when Alice spots the nanny’s back turned, she frames neglect by taking Scarlett back to Janine. Janine is livid, and after initial hesitation, she hires Alice to replace the nanny. Alice tells a horrified Poppy that her dad must be looking down on her, supplying a few ideas. Michael tells her he’s proud but that they must make Janine think they don’t get along. He leans in for a near kiss.

Lola’s disgusted to find that Sharon has bought Lexi a new cot. Panicking, she tells Trish, who’s called in, that Sharon’s jinxing everything. Lola’s not happy when Billy says he can’t join her to a Mitchell family meal tomorrow – he’s got a date with Ava. Questioned, she reveals to Billy that she found Sharon unconscious after taking some pills and is worried social services will find out.

Patrick’s suspicious when Kim’s double booking a room. He and Denise question Kim, finding that she’s been letting Jen, a business student, run a masseuse service from the B and B. Kim tells Ray, who’s stressed to find Sasha’s mum’s ill after a car crash, that she’s there for him.

When Denise sees Ian splashing the cash on his businesses, he promises her he’ll spoil her too.

Questioned by Max, Kirsty claims to have morning sickness. He later buys her flowers, to show he cares. Kirsty keeps cancelling phone calls. Kat warns her that Max won’t be fooled – he’s been through the baby routine before… Show less
