Sharon moves back into Jack’s flat. But Dennis is unhappy, in spite of Sharon’s efforts. He asks her why no one ever stays. Shirley taunts Phil about Sharon leaving. Left alone at Tanya’s, Sharon cuts her finger on a glass and raids Tanya’s cupboard for a plaster. She spots a pack of painkillers, takes one and steals a blister pack.

Kat brings over some of Tommy’s old toys for Scarlett. Michael offers her dinner – Alice will cook. Kat warns him not to take Alice for granted. From Max, Michael learns that Jack has gone away, and asks how he’ll run the gym alone. Kat’s goes to Michael’s and is sitting with Scarlett when the doorbell goes. Michael answers to the back of a head. She turns round, ‘Hello Michael’. It’s Janine.

Alice wants a new hairstyle and Poppy twigs that it must be for a man, unaware it’s Michael. Poppy advises Alice not to give her man everything. They discuss the signs of love and how Alice should proceed. When Michael buys Alice perfume, Alice misinterprets the gift and makes her move on Michael, following Poppy’s advice. She’s mortified when Michael rebuffs her advances. Michael explains to Alice that she’s too young, too good.

Kirsty tells Max she wants to go alone to the abortion clinic. She tells Kat that Max is taking her. But when Max arrives at the Vic, Kat tells him that Kirsty would never want to go through an abortion alone. Tanya is frustrated that Max hasn’t told her about Kirsty’s baby, despite plenty of opportunity. Later, Sharon comes over with wine for a girly chat. Tanya makes her excuses and goes to Max’s office, confronting him about the baby.

Ian suggests they re-mortgage the house to fund the restaurant. Lucy’s furious. Shirley teases Denise about Ian. Show less
