Allan Campbell and Willie MacRobbie continue their journey along the south shore of Loch Maree and Willie describes the isolated fishing lodge on the north shore at Letterewe. Willie takes Allan on a short tour of the village of Gairloch and describes some of its history, including some of the history of Badachro on the southern shore of Loch Gairloch. They complete their tour with a visit to the Museum and then travel to Poolewe where Allan sees where ships once entered the River Ewe and sailed into what is now Loch Maree but was once a tidal sea loch. Willie also describes some of the World War 2 Merchant Navy links with Poolewe. Show less
