Liam’s spent the night at Kane’s flat with the rest of the gang. Kane sees the list of missed calls from Bianca on Liam’s phone. Bianca rejects Jack’s suggestion of involving the police and Jack later suggests Carol should go to them behind Bianca’s back. Despite Carol’s reservations, Whitney and Bianca hand out flyers featuring Liam’s photo on the Bryon Estate. Kane brings the gang ‘breakfast’– alcohol and bread rolls. Kane’s dad shows Kane one of the flyers. Ava takes Whitney and Bianca to her house on the outskirts of the estate. She warns Bianca the gang won’t like the flyers and explains some of the realities of life on the estate. Bianca and Whitney head for the police station. Meanwhile, the gang tell Liam he has to prove himself by teaching ‘his manor’ some respect.
Poppy and Fatboy are downhearted, they can’t afford a flat. Poppy attends a lost luggage auction with Alfie, hoping to raise some cash. Fatboy’s thrilled when he finds an expensive watch in a case Poppy’s bought. Poppy finds a letter identifying the cases’ owner and is determined to reunite them with their luggage. Fatboy looks wistfully at the watch then pockets it.
Jean’s anxious when she realises she’s over ordered flour at the Vic. Shirley comes up with a plan - they can make cupcakes then offer afternoon tea in the pub. Alfie’s initially sceptical but the cakes sell well.
Jay’s preoccupied and Abi’s concerned, sure he’s thinking of Heather and Ben. Phil claims Jay seems fine but he obviously isn’t. Phil sends AJ away from the Arches then tells Jay how he got through the anniversary of Heather’s death, admitting he hasn’t stopped thinking about it since. Phil gives Jay the afternoon off to spend time with Abi. Show less
