Kirsty spots Jay walking Abi home at 3am. Tanya isn’t fooled by Abi’s lie that she was at Bernadette’s. Abi admits she was at Jay’s and they’re having sex. Tanya confides in Max that Abi was out until all hours but lies about where. Seeing Abi and Jay together, Tanya realises how in love they are. She later has an honest talk with Abi, explaining she still sees her as a little girl but knows she’s not. She’s bought Abi condoms and urges her not to tell Max. Abi’s apologetic about her AS results, three Cs and a B, but Tanya’s thrilled and proud. Later, Kirsty turns Tanya away from the B&B. Jack offers to buy Tanya dinner. Max sees Jack with his arm around Tanya.

Liam claims he has no idea why the police want to talk to him and Bianca. Bianca’s worried sick when Shirley tells her Liam’s been hanging out with a gang. Dot warns Bianca not to protect Liam but when DS Bain visits, Bianca hides the money belt and lies that Liam was at home looking after Morgan when Tamwar was mugged. C

Kirsty’s unenthusiastic about the Vic’s karaoke night. After Alfie’s solicitor warns him he has no rights over Tommy, Alfie decides to do something official to ensure he stays part of Tommy’s life.

Tamwar, equipped with stab vest, returns to work. Carol’s dismissive when Masood brings the café curry and he later sees her laughing with Steve. Masood, Tamwar and AJ celebrate reaching Tamwar’s first University fund target of £200 – £400 after Masood matches it.

Denise sneaks Ian out of the B&B but Kim’s suspicions are roused. In the Vic, she attempts to find the owner of a belt left by Denise’s mystery man and when Lucy identifies it Denise and Ian’s secret is out. Show less
