There’s hostile tension between Masood and Tamwar. Market boss Mr Garner tells Tamwar he needs to stop accepting the traders’ outlandish excuses for not paying their pitch fees. The traders mock him when he demands money. Dot finds Liam in the launderette at the same time as some of the gang of teens. When the gang turn up on Bridge Street the traders joke that Tamwar should step in. Tamwar tells the gang to get off his market. Everyone applauds and Masood’s proud. Kat’s keen to divorce Alfie without a solicitor. Alfie asks Ian’s advice. Alfie tries to talk Kat round, insisting he won’t stitch her up. Roxy’s not happy that Alfie’s been to see Kat. After a run in with Roxy, Kat decides to take up Kirsty’s offer of a good solicitor’s number.
