Joe revisits theatre director Alison Grant. When Joe first met Alison, she had just bought an abandoned ranger's cottage in Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex at auction. The excitement of her purchase was dampened by the discovery of some unexpected surprises lurking in the timbers of the house. Joe took her to meet a couple who tackled a similar renovation with their derelict barn in Sedelscombe, East Sussex for some guidance and inspiration. Fourteen months on, Joe revisits to find out how far Alison got in transforming the property into her dream home.
