In Scotland, around 80,000 people have dementia. With this number expected to double in the next 20 years due to the country's ageing population, dementia is something that will affect us all in one way or another. While it's most common in older people, it can also affect people in their 40s or 50s or even younger.

Ninety five-year old Katie Fraser who has dementia lives with her daughter Ishbel in Breakish in Skye. In Inverness we follow some of the team who run Cameron House, a care home which specialises in dementia care. We also meet Agnes Houston, a member of the Scottish Dementia Working Group, as she meets new member, Marion Hamilton, who was recently diagnosed with dementia at only 49. Show less
