Tha a' chuibhreann as motha den bhàrdachd a thagh agus a dh'aithris Dòmhnall Eàirdsidh Dòmhnallach a' tighinn bhon t-siathamh chun ochdamh linn deug. Cluinnidh sinn rannan bho B'annsa Cadal air Fraoch a rinn An Ciaran Mabach ( Gilleasbaig Dòmhnallach ), An Duanag Ullamh a tha gun urra, Bothan Àirigh am Bràigh Raineach a tha cuideachd gun urra, A' Làir Dhonn le Murchadh MacChoinnich, agus Dàn Comhfhurtachd do Shir Alasdair Dòmhnallach a rinn Am Pìobaire Dall ( Iain Macaoidh à Geàrrloch ). Tha e a' crìochnachadh leis a' bhàrdachd a thaghadh e nam biodh e "air eilean mara nach tràigh", Oran na Comhachaig, a rinn Dòmhnall MacFhionnlaigh nan Dàn.

The late Donald Archie MacDonald chose his poetry from the 16th to the 18th century. We hear him recite verses from B'annsa Cadal air Fraoch composed by Archibald MacDonald. An Duanag Ullamh whose author is unknown, Bothan Àirigh am Bràigh Raineach whose author is also unknown, A' Làir Dhonn by Murdo Mackenzie, and a composition by John MacKay from Gairloch ( The Blind Piper ) . He finishes by choosing the poetry he would have taken with him to a desert island, Oran na Comhachaig, where the poet, Donald Finlayson, writes as if through the eyes of an owl.
