Lola demands Sharon’s help with the residency application; Sharon’s refuses to lie to social services after they helped her. Lola despairs Lexi will feel unwanted, searches for a distraction and fronts to Cora she’s going out every night now she’s free of Lexi. Sharon watches, concerned. Lola claims she doesn’t care about losing Lexi but hides in her room during Lexi’s visit, crying. Billy coaxes her out. Lola rocks Lexi, swearing to her she is wanted, and insists on being present at Phil’s assessment with Trish. Sharon arrives, introducing herself as Phil’s fiancée.

Syed wants to report a homophobic hate crime to the police; a bruised Christian refuses, claiming he didn’t see his attackers. Danny texts Syed. Roxy’s concerned when Christian despairs he’s losing everything. After Christian declines again to discuss his attack, Syed rings the police.

After discovering Joey sleeping in the car lot office, Max takes him in. Derek buys Liam a bracelet for Bianca in exchange for his granddad’s watch to give to Joey; he drops it in a pint. Carol asks Joey to get along with Derek. Joey refuses, recalling Derek once beat his mum with a phone. When confronted about his violent past, Derek doesn’t regret his dealings with David Wicks, still bitter over losing Jackie Bosch. Derek insists he deserves a second chance, and won’t let Joey spoil it.

Lauren sulks when Max lets Joey stay. She turns up drunk to R&R, flirts with men and hassles Joey. Joey takes her home and promises to leave if she wants him to. Lauren kisses him, Joey pulls away. Lauren’s mortified.

Kim’s fed up of her demanding B&B guests and hides in the Vic, drinking. After a pep talk from Kat, she devises a new breakfast menu. Show less
