Clare Balding hosts live coverage of British flat racing's end-of-season championship event that seeks to crown the best horses of 2012. The headlines will be dominated by what is probably the final appearance of the feted Frankel, regarded in some quarters as the best racehorse in history.

There are five headline races that will feature some of the world's best horses: sprint, long distance, fillies and mares and mile, culminating in the Champion Stakes that will see Frankel try to extend his unbeaten record to 14 straight victories.
