The bailiff reveals the Masoods owe £12,000. Looking at Syed, Tamwar insists he hasn’t read any letters. Zainab flies at him. AJ pulls her off. Christian turns to find Syed has gone. Panicking, Zainab insists it must be an admin error. The bailiff gives them one hour to raise £4,000 to buy themselves more time. Kim escorts the bailiffs to the café. Roxy clocks Syed’s absence, realises why Christian needed a loan and thinks he’s a doormat. Christian angrily declares they’re done. Masood’s sure they can cover the £4,000 with their savings but finds the account empty. Zainab goes through the Argee Bhajee books and berates Tamwar. Eventually, he snaps, revealing Syed’s responsible. Zainab apologises, distraught that Tamwar thinks she favours Syed. Tamwar pleads she stops expecting him to fail. Masood’s convinced their money’s been taken until AJ finds the paying in book showing Zainab withdrew it. At home, Syed’s frantic and wants Christian to go on honeymoon with him. Christian’s disgusted he could abandon his family. Syed goes alone, leaving Christian in tears. Roxy comforts Christian and promises to give the money to the Masoods. At the tube station, Syed deliberates at the ticket barriers. Zainab cries - the hour is up and the bailiffs are returning. Masood demands to know what she did with their savings, reminding her of the last time she lied to him; what, or who, was so important? Syed enters: “me”.
Fat Boy practices chat up lines in the mirror and dithers on the B&B doorstep. Spotting him, Denise hurriedly changes and reapplies her make up.
