In this episode Joe meets Jason Rodd and his fiancee Gail Dewing who have recently bought a picturesque 17th Century cottage in a Nottinghamshire village. But a project on this scale is new for both of them and they could do with some wise words from fellow renovators. Joe takes them to see a Victorian property and meet the owners who have totally gutted and restored it with impressive results.

We hear about the wonderful work being done in North London to regenerate an area that up until now has been plagued by hundreds of empty properties and we join one of the UK's empty property officers as they do their best to combat the many issues surrounding vacant homes. Show less
