While on a Muppet-themed pilgrimage to LA, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary and Gary's girlfriend Mary are aghast to discover that unscrupulous oil tycoon Tex Richman plans to buy out the Muppets' old studio, raze it to the ground and turn it into an oil field.

To resist Tex Richman's evil plans, Walter, Gary and Mary resolve to reunite the Muppet gang for one more show.
