Syed avoids calls from his supplier. Zainab and Christian clash over wedding arrangements. Syed’s distressed when his card’s declined, and confides in AJ he had a business deal with Michael. Unable to sell his stock, Syed calls the supplier and demands he stop phoning. Tamwar reveals they’re three months behind on the Argee Bhajee mortgage; Syed scrapes together £9,000 and asks Tamwar to be best man. Later, Syed’s supplier arrives. Syed hurries Tamwar out early. At home, Zainab’s pleased the family’s moving on. Meanwhile, Syed writes the supplier a £10,000 cheque from the restaurant cheque book, forging Tamwar’s signature.
Billy’s worried about leaving Lola while he looks after the kids while Honey starts a new job. Lola kisses Jay when she sees Abi watching. Cora defends Lola when her community service officer objects to Lexi’s presence... Abi’s upset, but claims she’s happy for Lola and Jay. Jay’s bemused. Lola admits she was winding Abi up. Jubilant that Lola’s finished her community service, the trio leave hand prints, and Lexi’s footprint, on the playground in red paint. At home, Lola’s met by Billy, Patrick and Trish, who’s horrified to notice paint on Lexi. Billy informs Lola Patrick’s moving in as her responsible adult.
Tanya’s keen for a girls’ night. Sharon’s watching a DVD with Dennis, but reconsiders and joins Tanya in the Vic with Kim and Denise. Denise jokes it wasn’t long ago that Tanya was with Jack, too. Although it’s initially awkward, Sharon quips they can compare notes.
Derek gives Tyler a stall to sell Emporium stock and dodgy gear. Joey jeers that Tyler’s Derek’s lapdog. Tyler punches him. Derek takes Tyler for a curry and toasts to their future as partners.
Phil enjoys stringing nervous Fat Boy and Jean along about their jobs at the Vic, but allows them to stay. Show less
