Michael Rosen is one of the best known figures in the world of children's literature and was the fifth Children's Laureate. He's also a poet and radio presenter, a script writer and has been passionate about books and reading since childhood.

Michael tells Stuart Cosgrove that after reading James Joyce's Portrait of the Artist when he was a teenager he became determined to become a writer himself.
