Billy puts up posters promoting the torch relay. Lola’s fed up. Jay rips up a postcard from Abi, claiming to Shirley he’s over her but is upset because Lola’s not talking to him. Shirley makes Jay apologise to Andrew for damaging the burger (now pie) van. Lola’s social worker visits. Jay visits Lola and apologises. Lola wants Jay to take her somewhere but Jay sensibly refuses. Lola uses her heavily pregnant state to scam a drink from Denise then later chicken from Fat Boy. Realising Lola hasn’t paid, Nico’s angry; after Nico touches her bump, Lola pushes him away knocking some chicken to the floor. Nico calls the police. It’s past Lola’s curfew time. Jay assures Lola he’ll still be there for her when the baby’s born; she kisses him. Billy arrives as Lola’s being arrested. Jay walks away as Lola’s driven off in tears.

Denise tells Shirley Carly’s had a baby. Shirley eventually calls Carly, who angrily tells her not to call again. Later, Ben finds Shirley drunk. She tells Ben she was a really good best friend, now she’s no-one to anybody and Ben assures her that’s not true. Elsewhere, in the charity shop, Cora polishes the ‘best friends’ frame.

Michael spends the morning dealing with business. His phone battery dies, he locks himself out the house and his taxi doesn’t turn up. Alfie’s initially hostile to Michael but then helps him get to hospital. Michael’s missed Scarlett’s consultant’s appointment and Janine’s furious. Michael tells Janine she can’t keep pushing him away.

Rose‘s bored, Cora doesn’t want to go to the bingo nor Andrew to Southend. Kat’s gone away, Alfie sets up some training for the football team. Cora commands the boys to do press ups in the Vic. Rose embarrasses Andrew in front of the team. Show less
