Lucy avoids a man looking for Ian and threatens to smack Bobby when he questions if Ian’s dead. Cora’s concerned. Max insists Jay fix the cars he disabled. Lucy’s relieved when Derek lets her off the hook, then fires Lola. Lola’s annoyed by Max’s attitude towards Jay. Lucy tries to confide in Cora. On her return, she finds the chip shop door open. Max discovers chip fat all over a car and its paperwork. He and Phil demand Lucy compensate them. Panicked at the mention of Social services, Lucy promises them money. At home, she‘s dismayed that the electricity’s been cut off.

Janine’s frantic – her baby’s fighting an infection and Michael’s missing. Ricky discovers Michael at home and insists he return to the hospital but falls asleep, and wakes to find Michael gone. Jean finds him ransacking Butcher’s Joints with a bag and the safe open. Jean locks him in and lectures him - she knows Michael’s just terrified to love. Jean hands back Michael’s St Christopher. Later, Janine’s despairing when Michael returns to hospital with a bag of baby clothes, insisting he’s there for her. Janine wants the baby christened. Janine suggests Patricia or Margaret but Michael likes Scarlett. Michael places his St Christopher in Scarlett’s incubator.

Yasmin will only eat strawberry yoghurt. Zainab warns she’ll turn into a diva. Christian battles with Yasmin to try a carrot.

Derek awaits Joey’s arrival all day, keen to take him the dog track, but eventually concedes he’s not coming. Alice convinces Derek to go anyway.
Kim invites Ray to stay when his landlord increases the rent. Kim discusses boys with Sasha and admits she kissed a girl. They play basketball, accidentally smashing the charity shop window. Kim legs it. Cora collars Sasha and Morgan, insisting Sasha work at the charity shop. Show less
