Charlie is a fan of horror films and books, and even studied gothic literature at university. The first novel in his bestselling zombie-adventure series for teenagers, The Enemy, was published in September 2009.
After leaving university, Charlie formed a band, The Higsons. He then turned to comedy and has starred in TV shows including The Harry Enfield Television Programme, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, Shooting Stars and The Fast Show.
Charlie is also a successful adult novelist and has written four thrillers. Show less
