Ian plies his family with lavish presents and receives a new credit card. Mandy’s upset to realise Ian’s addressed her card to Cindy. Ian’s apologetic, and reveals he’s planned a party for Mandy at the Vic. Lucy confronts Ian with final reminders, worried about her university fees. Ian lies everything’s fine, then remembers with horror that Ben’s his best man. At the Argee Bhajee, Ben’s arrival causes Ian to leave abruptly. He declares to Mandy they’re leaving after the wedding and never coming back.
With nowhere to go, Jay mopes around the Square. Ben pleads with him to come home. Jay tries to pick up his Arches wages, but bolts when Phil wants to talk. Shirley packs up Heather’s flat, leaving a photograph behind the wallpaper. Phil gives Jay his wages and beseeches him to come home , reassuring him that the police have no leads. Jay’s hesitant, but arrives at the Argee Bhajee for a family meal.
Janine adamant the wedding’s off. Michael tricks her into having a scan, claiming it’s an appointment to manage her baby weight. Janine learns she’s having a girl and decides the wedding’s back on.
The ‘Kim’s Olympic Palace’ sign is taken down at the B&B. At Sasha’s insistence, Kim sneaks them into Heather’s old flat. Sasha’s overwhelmed, cries and flees straight to a horrified Ray.
Dot avoids the Launderette and lies to Shirley she hasn’t watched Heather’s hen DVD. Shirley gives Dot Heather’s launderette tabard. Taking Ian’s advice, Dot announces to Patrick, Rose and Cora she’s going to stay with Dotty and Sandy.
Mo pays Jean the last of the money concerning her benefit fraud fine. Roxy’s embarrassed when Mo produces her knickers she found on the bathroom floor. The Vic has a lock in during a power cut. Show less
