Allan Campbell travels from Solitote to Flodigarry in the company of local crofter Archie Nicholson who describes the area and tells some of its history. Allan hears how Archie and colleagues became lost in fog as they ferried sheep from Trodday Island over 30 years ago (1977). They finish their journey at Flodigarry village and Archie describes how crofting has evolved in his own lifetime and he comments on the future prospects for the community both economically and culturally.
