Roxy arrives back on the Square triumphant; Amy’s coming home. The Mitchells arrive at the Butchers’ for Amy but Bianca lies that Jack has taken her. Shirley fires Bianca before heading round to Jack’s. When the Branning siblings arrive, Derek suggests that Jack goes on the run but as the Brannings hold council Jack shouts that this is about what is best for Amy before confessing he didn’t lose; he dropped the case. Jack says a final goodbye to his daughter before the Mitchells arrive with the social worker to collect Amy. Roxy and Jack share a moment alone where he confesses that he received the divorce papers from Ronnie that morning; he has now lost everything. Bianca tells Tiffany that although Ricky loves her he isn’t coming home this time. Ray visits asking to see Morgan but Bianca tells him that it’s her kids, her terms. Bianca turns down Derek’s offer of a loan but is then forced to ask Shirley for her job back. Scrubbing the ovens in the cafe, Bianca is surprised when Ray offers his help. Ray explains the lengths he’s gone to to provide for Sasha but when Bianca misreads the signals and goes in for a kiss, Ray pulls away, telling her the kids needs to come first. As they hug in the street Bianca is unaware that Tiffany has seen everything.
Abi is disgusted with Jay for bragging about Roxy’s courtroom victory. When Jay finds Abi bearing flowers and an apology, Tanya tells her daughter to go after him; sometimes you just have to ride the roller-coaster.
