The Motorway Cops are seeking out drivers who are desperate not to get caught and they find that some people will take extraordinary risks just to get away from them.
Near Bromsgrove, PCs Adam Toal and Paul Owen spot a white van driving with no lights on, but as they turn to catch it the situation quickly turns into a chase. Some way down the road they find the van parked up but with no one in it. As the driver's door is locked they begin to suspect that the owner may have some explaining to do so start a series of late night house calls to find him.
PCs Shail and Clarke are also trying to track down a driver who has run from his vehicle, this time after he crashed it on an unlit section of the motorway, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake.
On the M6, PCs Dave Gaunt and Kevin Whitehouse are looking for a £70 000 Bentley that they believe is being driven by a disqualified driver, but when they eventually stop it they find the owner is not driving it, and the man who is has more than one identity.
PCs Elliott and Bullard are joined on the nightshift by dayshift cops PCs Steve Millward and Mark Calladine to help stop a gang carrying drugs across the country. The van driver goes to dangerous lengths to get away, while his passenger attempts to get rid of the evidence. Show less
