Lulu is a fun-loving tortoise who, with her friends Hugo the hare, Freddy and Freda the ferrets, Hattie the owl, Barry the badger and Spike the hedgehog, goes on adventures and discovers more about nature and the world around her.

Spike's father lends him his camcorder so the friends can make a pirate film. Everyone agrees except Hugo, who wants to make a science fiction film. The roles are given out and Lulu plays the princess being saved by the nice pirate Barry. Hugo doesn't like having been set aside and is sad to have missed a chance at playing the hero with Lulu, even if it's just make believe. Show less
