Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents
Series 2
Episode 1: Kos
1 hour
BBC Three throws open the doors on the ultimate rite of passage for the average teenager - the first ever summer holiday abroad without their parents. But what these teenagers couldn't possibly have guessed is that whilst they enjoy their first taste of freedom, with all its temptations and excesses, they are being secretly watched... by their parents. It will be an eye-opening experience, but will it bring them closer together or drive them further apart?
Two teens from very different backgrounds head to the party island of Kos. 18-year-old Sophie from Sussex is leaving behind her strict Jehovah's Witness parents for her first holiday without them, while in Kent 19-year-old exhibitionist and mummy's boy Ronnie is also looking forward to the freedom of his first lads' holiday.
What Ronnie and Sophie don't know is that their parents are coming too, and for the next six days they will be covertly watching their every move. This could be a problem for Sophie who believes that what her parents don't know can't hurt them. But as she lets her hair down in some of Kos's hottest night spots she is completely unaware that her parents, who don't condone sex before marriage or excessive alcohol consumption, are literally just around the corner.
Meanwhile Ronnie and his mates are wasting no time in Kos and set out to sample the local nightlife. Ronnie's father is hoping that he'll see a different side to his son - one that doesn't involve his mother doing everything for him, even cutting his toenails. But he is about to see a lot more than he bargained for.
As the week progresses, Sophie experiments with laughing gas and decides to go skinny dipping, while Ronnie snogs his way around town, and gets himself kicked out of a club for getting his manhood out.
When Sophie's group and Ronnie's group run into each other they immediately clash. Fuelled with alcohol, the two groups argue with dramatic consequences that leave the parents stunned. Show less
