The Gaza Strip is dangerous at the best of times but for the past five years the bombed-out buildings and bullet-ridden walls have provided the perfect playground for freerunners. Most young athletes can't leave, however one athlete - Olympic 5000 metre runner Nader el Masri - was recently granted permission to enter Egypt ahead of the Arab Games. 

Plus, the road to London 2012 for some of Belgium's top sprinters takes an unlikely detour across an Icelandic glacier. And, Mongolia has a long and rich sporting tradition that pre-dates even Genghis Khan. But times are changing - the country is modernising - as typified by their Olympic boxing champion Badar Uugan.
