Phil receives another note from the stalker, he’s ‘getting warmer.’ Breaking into Jack’s, Phil ransacks the flat looking for the file but to no avail. The Brannings discover the mess, giving Derek a brief rundown of Phil’s past. Jack confronts Phil, letting him know that Amy is his priority, all this has nothing to do with him. At a loss to his tormenter’s identity, Jack reminds Phil that on the night of Amy’s accident the whole square passed through his flat, anyone could have taken the file. Phil returns home to find ‘Kevin’ written on his door in black paint.
Zainab spots Masood and Jane kissing and is floored by their public display of affection. She later tells Yusef that Pakistan will be the best decision they ever make but is shocked when he proposes in the most unromantic of situations. Zainab tells Afia she couldn’t have asked for a better wife for Tamwar and that Yusef will be crushed if they don’t give Pakistan a try before confronting Masood over his relationship with Jane. Returning home, Zainab accepts another proposal from Yusef but he later lies to Afia when he tells her he won’t propose without her approval, using Zainab’s ‘fragile’ state to guilt trip her and Tamwar into leaving. Tamwar remains against the idea, disgusted by the thought of his marriage becoming incestuous. When Zainab begins to express doubts about the move, Yusef turns nasty, hitting her before immediately begging for forgiveness.
Amira continues to plant the Pakistan idea in Syed’s head, convincing him of the money they can make.
Alfie impresses Derek with his silver tongue as he sells Christmas trees, later accepting his offer to go into business. Alfie asks whether Phil would consider selling the Vic and is shocked when he half-heartedly expresses an interest. Show less
