The School of Scottish Studies from Edinburgh University has published Tocher for the last 40 years. The journal contains songs, stories, music, customs, beliefs, local history, rhymes and riddles transcribed from tapes held in the sound archive. Jo MacDonald has chosen material from Scalpay from Norman MacLeod, Kenneth MacLeod and Calum MacSween and also selected material from Christina Shaw and her sister, Peggy Morrison. Show less
