Stevie is still hiding the gun Dave gave him, but with Raymond promising to help him buy Gabriel's van, he becomes determined to stay on the straight and narrow and dumps the gun in a bin. With his worries over, Stevie manages to share a bit of a laugh with Nicole and Christina, but this is shortlived when Dave appears and tells him to fetch the gun. Stevie's attempts to get the gun are interrupted by Raymond and he's forced to leave empty-handed. Dave is not happy, but Stevie finally manages to retrieve the gun just before the bin men arrive to take it away. Stevie thinks his job is done, but Dave has other plans for him and demands that he rob Lenny for the money he refused Dave. Stevie doesn't want to be involved but Dave won't give up so easily. Stevie is so distracted by Dave's presence in Shieldinch that he fails to complete the work at the community centre set up by Raymond. Murray is unhappy and tells Raymond what has gone on, Raymond is left disappointed in Stevie. Dave puts the pressure on Stevie by threatening to hurt Eileen and baby Stuart. Stevie feels he has no choice but to commit the robbery. However, when Stevie goes to Amber Cabs he can't see it through because Molly is there. Stevie decides to set the fire alarm off instead, hoping to distract Dave, but all it does is incense him. Stevie thinks leaving town is his only choice but when Raymond finds him packing, Stevie comes clean about the gun. Raymond and Stevie set out to get the gun back but when they arrive at where Stevie had stashed it, it's gone. As Raymond calls the cops, Stevie races to Amber Cabs. Stevie bursts in on Dave toying with Molly and a fight breaks out between the two men as Molly makes her escape. As Raymond and the cops arrive on the scene a shot is heard from inside Amber Cabs and as Dave emerges it remains unclear if Stevie has been hurt. Raymond's relief is palpable as a battered Stevie appears into the street. Dave is arrested and Raymond is proud of Stevie for telling the truth.

Iona is feeling left out when Annie and Charlie tell her about their romantic plans for the day, but her day goes from bad to worse when she discovers Tatiana is back at work. Iona refuses to allow Tattie to give her the flu jab and stalks off. Christina is so angry at Iona's treatment of her Mum that she reveals Iona's kiss with Big Bob before his wedding to Tattie. Tattie confronts Iona and the two go toe-to-toe, but it soon comes to light that both women just really miss Big Bob and whilst there's a long way to go before these two will ever be friends, at least a tentative truce has been reached.

Jimmy is pleased when Lenny gives him time off to take Scarlett to the hospital for a routine check-up, but Scarlett is suspicious of any talk of Lenny. At the hospital, Jimmy jokes about Scarlett not wearing her wedding ring and to cover the fact she's pawned it, she uses the chemotherapy as an excuse for it being at the jewellers. Back home, Jimmy decides to cheer Scarlett up by organising a fancy dinner and plans to surprise her by getting back her wedding ring, but he gets curious when Molly denies recommending a jeweller to Scarlett. When Kelly-Marie lets slip that the ring has actually been pawned Jimmy is furious, but Kelly-Marie placates him and Jimmy sends her to buy the ring back. However the ring has been sold and slowly, Jimmy realises the ring is only a symbol and decides to really surprise Scarlett by buying her a cheap replacement. Scarlett apologises for everything she's done and the couple are happy, but the moment is broken with news from the hospital... they need Scarlett to go back. Scarlett is obviously worried, but Jimmy vows to stand by her every step of the way.

Lenny gets news from Hamish that the only way he can prove Cal is his grandson is if he gets a sample of the boy's DNA. Lenny sets his plan into motion and makes Kelly-Marie uncomfortable before he secretly manages to get the evidence he needs. Show less
