Phil storms into the Vic accusing Christian of touching Ben. Christian denies it and reveals Ben tried to kiss him. Phil refuses to believe it, Christian punches him. Syed’s horrified. Zainab’s disgusted when Yusef and Amira tell her Christian’s been carrying on with Ben. Phil forces his way into Christian and Syed’s flat with a baseball bat, smashing the windows and kicking down the door. Jane rushes in. Christian insists this is about Phil not being able to accept Ben is gay. When Ben admits he lied, Phil retreats. Yusef insists he needs to stay at the Masoods’ to protect Zainab. Syed demands to know why Christian didn’t tell him Ben kissed him, Christian accuses Syed of believing Ben’s accusation. Amira tells Christian that he ruined her life – now he knows how it feels to be judged. Later, Syed’s shocked to find Christian with his bags packed. Christian tells Syed he loves him but it’s not enough anymore. Heartbroken, Syed watches Christian leave in a taxi as Amira observes from the window.
Roxy won’t believe Ben’s accusation and drags him over to Christian’s. Ben admits he lied and flees. Jay furiously insists Ben face Phil. Ben tells Phil he kissed Christian, defiantly declaring he fancies him. Awkward, Phil thinks they should accept each other the way they are.
Jane’s furious no-one realised Bobby was missing. Mandy informs her she and Ian are engaged. Mandy thinks Ian and Jane should reconcile if there’s a chance they could make it work, Ian reassures her. Later, Jane announces she’s staying for Bobby’s sake. Mandy’s enthusiastic - as long as that’s all Jane’s back for.
Masood’s delighted to see Jane. He admits there’s nothing left to fight for in his marriage and invites Jane to the cinema. Jane reveals she’s started a Mechanics course. Show less
