Roxy remains oblivious to Amy’s accident as she returns home from her night out whilst Jack waits at his daughter’s bedside. Realizing that something is wrong a dishevelled Roxy arrives at the hospital to be met with hostility from Jack, Carol reveals they don’t yet know whether there will be any long term damage to Amy. Arriving back on the Square Jack confronts Ben and Jay, vowing never to let the Mitchell’s near his kids again. At the hospital, social services question Jack and Roxy. Noting that Amy had a fracture from before the accident the walls close in around Roxy whilst Jack admits he hasn’t been the best of fathers but is willing to change. Jack goes on to give a brief history of the Mitchells, leading the social worker to decide to entrust Amy into Jack’s care. Roxy is devastated as she is restrained from seeing her daughter.
Tanya buys makeup recommended by Siobhan, positive ahead of her treatment. At the hospital, Tanya bumps into Carol and claims she’s come to support Jack. Later, Tanya’s shocked when her treatment nurse reveals Siobhan’s died. Tanya suffers a panic attack at the hospital before returning home, removing the makeup and facing reality.
Tanya and Lauren offer Whitney a makeover before her interview, but she is left feeling stupid when Fatboy comments on her new look. Lauren and Fatboy later find Whitney back in her old clothes, confidence shattered. They force Whitney go to her interview, and are later thrilled when she reveals she’s been offered a place on the course.
Heading to the hospital to see Amy, Dot leaves it to Fatboy to organize the church social but Rose soon turns the event into a booze filled party. Reverend Stevens is smitten, and asks Dot’s permission to take things further with Rose. Show less
