Frances meets DI Donald on Montego Street and tells him she is innocently picking up a coffee. But when DI Donald leaves, Frances engineers a collision with Lenny. Lenny is intrigued by Frances and calls into the salon to apologise for the earlier incident. When Frances makes a barbed remark, Lenny leaves.

Later, Frances follows Lenny to the pub and repairs the damage over a drink. DI Donald arrives at the bar and first rattles Lenny's cage before he warns Frances not to stay in Shieldinch. She leaves before Lenny sees her talking to DI Donald. She later apologises to Lenny for her hasty exit and seals it with a kiss. DI Donald tells Frances that she needs to become an informant or he will reveal her true identity.

At the salon, Frances has enough of Jack's questions and sends herself a text from his phone. Frances shows the text to Hayley and lies that Jack has been sexually harassing her. Hayley gives Jack some time off. Jack finds Frances at the Ship and can't help chasing her. She calls Hayley who arrives just in time to see Jack leaning in to kiss Frances, who pushes Jack off, pretending to be horrified. Jack declares his innocence but Hayley refuses to listen and tells him to get out.

Liz rebukes an indignant Malcolm for using a step ladder. Irritated, Malcolm leaves and offers to take Stuart out. Raymond's initial eagerness fades when they realise Liz is not around. Back at home, Malcolm trips and hurts his wrist. Liz, Gina and Eileen drive him mad with their fussing and he goes out. He is testy with Liz when she arrives to collect for the Christmas club. He notices two lads watching her and when they disappear just after she leaves with the collection money, he sweeps into action. Liz is confronted by the two lads who laugh at Malcolm when he intervenes. But Malcolm has brought Gabriel for back-up and he chases them away. Liz is left swooning at her knight in shining armour.

Robbie is dying with a hangover and gives Zinnie money to go and get breakfast. At the Deli, Zinnie is embarrassed to find that she doesn't have enough money to cover her shopping, so Dr Dan steps in and pays. She has locked on to her new target. She gets dressed up and goes to the medical centre. When she hears the new doctor is out on house calls, she gets him to visit Robbie who is furious. Zinnie is all over Dan but he is not interested. Robbie puts an idea in her mind and she gets a bike and pretends to have a flat tyre, but is left mortified when Conor embarrasses Zinnie by reclaiming his bike. Initially deflated, Robbie encourages Zinnie to give it one last try and she follows the doctor to the community centre. She finds him in the middle of an AA support meeting where he declares his love for his wife and son. When she runs into Dan at then end of the meeting, initially embarrassed Zinnie recovers to tell Dan that he should put his wedding ring to stop misleading people. Having been given food for thought, Dan puts his wedding ring back on. Show less
