8/8 Eight times champion jockey Peter Scudamore won a record breaking 1,678 times in his career.
Racing was in his blood, his father Michael rode nearly five hundred winners including Oxo in the 1959 Grand National.
Peter won his first race in 1979 and rode some of the best known horses of the era including Burrough Hill Lad and Corbiere before retiring after winning on Sweet Duke at Ascot in 1993.
Now a racing journalist and commentator Peter is also assistant trainer at a stables near Milnathort.
