The police search for Rob and Ryan. DC Blake questions Whitney and Fatboy persuades her to tell the truth about Rob. The police find Rob’s body. Fearful for Ryan, Whitney’s about to throw her necklace into the sea to bring him luck when he grabs her arm. Relieved, Whitney clings to Ryan. She tells him Rob’s dead and the police know everything. Whitney realises Ryan has to leave for good. Tearful, Whitney asks if she’ll see him again; he insists he’ll only ever be two steps behind her and then walks away.

The convention ends in disappointment for Heather when the Five Star signing is cancelled. Shirley’s annoyed when she discovers Heather can’t afford to pay the hotel bill and the two do a runner. Back home, Heather’s astonished to find Andrew on the doorstep, but she ushers him out the house after he kisses her. Shirley reassures Heather she’ll meet the right man one day.

Dot visits Rose and criticises her treatment of Andrew. Later, Rose finds Dot on the beach and asks for another chance. Rose takes Dot on a big wheel ride to make up for one Dot missed out on as a child. Dot invites Rose to come and stay with her. Andrew drives them to Walford. At the Vic, Dot’s aghast at how quickly Rose drinks. Andrew asks Dot to put in a good word for him to Heather. He dictates his address and gives his name as Andrew Cotton. It transpires that Charlie was Andrew’s father; he married Rose whilst still married to Dot. Furious, Dot throws Rose out. Yusef leaves Dot a message about her test results - it’s good news. Rose hammers on the door, she won’t let Charlie Cotton split them up again. Eventually Dot relents and lets her in. Show less
