Vanessa’s annoyed when Max avoids spending time with her; she takes off her engagement ring and starts cleaning. Lauren realises both her parents have forgotten her driving test. She sets off for a last practice session with Greg. Cora’s left to look after Oscar. Max waits for Tanya at the flat and is surprised when Jack walks in - he saw them in the alley. Jack and Max start to argue and things are on the verge of turning violent when Tanya arrives. Jack rounds on Tanya, bringing up Rachel and Stacey. Jack insists Tanya and Max are going to stop their affair - he won’t let them hurt anyone. When Jack leaves, Tanya wonders if he was right. Max insists he loves her, but Tanya asks him to let her go. Lauren and Greg arrive home in high spirits, Lauren’s passed her test. Emotional, Tanya hugs Lauren tightly. They celebrate at the Vic. After congratulating Lauren, Max leaves, despondent. Tanya finds Max in the car lot office and tells him she’s tried to walk away, but she can’t - they’re going to tell everyone tomorrow. They embrace.
Kat’s fed up when she has to clean the Vic herself. Sick of the deckchairs, she gives Eddie an ultimatum: she wants her sofa back by 3pm or £1000 to buy a new one. Eddie discovers Tyler’s sold the sofa, and sends him, Anthony and Billy to get it back. The Moons manage to sneak the old sofa back upstairs, Kat’s disappointed – she was hoping for the £1000.
Kat sacks Billy when he’s late for work. Lola persuades Ian to give her a job at the chip shop; she’s sure she can fill the place with hungry teenagers. Billy discovers he’s been shortlisted to be an Olympic torch bearer. Show less
