Elizabeth feels she has betrayed the patient's trust when she is forced to inform the police. Matters are made worse when Simone reappears with a deep cut to her head. Elizabeth tries to treat her mother secretly. However, suddenly her patient goes into arrest and dies in theatre, compounding Elizabeth's feelings of guilt.
