Eddie’s chuffed to have a grandson, Kat’s protective of Tommy and wants Eddie to leave. Kat later warms to Eddie, touched when he gives her money for Tommy. Eddie leaves in a cab, but Kat’s secretly glad when she finds him later in the park. They bond over Tommy, and Kat invites Eddie to stay. Later, Michael’s rocked when he sees Eddie at the Boxing club. Michael pushes money on Eddie to leave Walford, Eddie refuses it, telling Michael to get over the past. Later, Michael watches Alfie, Eddie and Roxy laughing and joking across the Square, unhappy at their growing relationship.

Michael’s irritated when Roxy’s charmed by Eddie and queries him about their relationship. He grabs Roxy roughly when she calls him ‘Mikey’, frightening her. Michael rants to Ronnie about Roxy’s meddling, wondering how the sisters are so different. Ronnie apologizes for taking Tommy and is confused when Michael shuts down when she talks about losing a loved one.

Vanessa discovers Lauren has a crush on Ryan. Trying to engage Max, Vanessa insists they need to sort Lauren out. Max scoffs, but uses it as an excuse to talk to Tanya. Tanya sees through his plan, and tells him that Vanessa’s trying to get his attention; Tanya used to do it herself when Max was cheating on her. Vanessa’s hurt when Max forgets their anniversary. Seeing how upset and embarrassed she is, Lauren agrees not to say anything.

Lydia slaps Janine as she struggles to help her from her wheelchair. Janine complains to Pat, joking about killing Lydia. Lydia’s wheelchair overturns when Janine leaves her alone in the flat. Discovering her later, Janine feels terrible.

Ricky’s due to leave for Dubai, but feels he can’t go without Carol’s support. Taking Eddie’s advice, Liam convinces Tiffany and Morgan to support Ricky’s decision. When Janine promises to help look after the kids, Carol changes her mind, supporting a grateful Ricky as he leaves for the airport. Show less
