A man knocks on the door of the Vic. Seeing Amy run out into the road; the man pulls her out of the path of Carol’s car, which then hits him. Kat’s suspicious; the man has the newspaper article about her, Alfie and Tommy in his pocket. Alfie greets the stranger warmly, it’s his Uncle Eddie. When Kat discovers Eddie’s Michael’s father, she doesn’t want him near anywhere Tommy. Michael arrives to thank Amy’s saviour. Eddie’s thrilled to see Michael, but Michael walks out when he sees his dad. Kat’s pleased when Eddie decides to leave, but Alfie follows him and tells him Tommy’s his grandson.

Eddie and Carol bicker. At Bianca’s sentencing, Carol and Ricky are relieved to learn she should be home by Christmas. Back at the Vic, Eddie continues to annoy Carol, especially when he persuades Ricky to take the job in Dubai.

Masood’s gutted when Afia tells him to stay away from the wedding meeting and refuses to take Masood’s wedding jacket for Tamwar. The meeting’s a nightmare; Zainab and Denise can’t agree on anything. Afia apologises to Tamwar for asking Masood to stay away.

It’s Lauren and Whitney’s first day on the stall. Whitney realises Lauren fancies Ryan, but advises her not to get involved. Later, Lauren unsuccessfully attempts to ask Ryan out.

Shirley’s on the verge of throwing Phil out when he reveals he’s been to a support group meeting. He hands back her engagement ring, and tells her she needs to trust him. She tries to follow him to a meeting, but he stops her. At the meeting, Phil’s asked to speak, but when he struggles Rainie steps in. Rainie talks about how much she misses Phil. Later, Phil finds Shirley wearing her engagement ring. He doesn’t mention Rainie being at the meeting. Show less
