When Jack invites Ronnie on a lunch date to the Argee Bhajee, Ronnie worries that she doesn’t feel the same about him anymore. Jack rejects Rainie’s advances, telling her he’s back with Ronnie. Angry, Rainie reveals to Ronnie that she slept with Jack, leaving her reeling. Roxy shows furious Ronnie Jack’s wedding ring he gave her, Roxy thinks he must still care. At the Argee Bhajee, Ronnie kisses Jack passionately, does he still want to be together? When Jack insists he does, Ronnie gives him his wedding ring back.

Tamwar’s suspicious when he discovers Masood’s clothes under the stairs. Zainab entrusts poorly Kamil to Syed’s care while she’s working, much to Masood’s annoyance. Masood and Zainab bicker over Kamil, and Zainab’s relationship with Syed. Tamwar’s frustrated that the family’s keeping secrets from him again.

Carol, Max and Jack think Jim needs to go into a Care home, Dot lies that she’s coping, yesterday was a one off. She thinks they’re hypocrites after neglecting Jim over the years, and is adamant Jim wants to stay at home. At the Launderette, she secretly pours herself a sherry, and confides her woes to Fatboy, who’s shocked to discover she’s secretly drinking. Dot confesses she’s been drinking to curb her loneliness, and realises she doesn’t know what Jim really wants. Determined to put Jim’s needs first, she relents, telling Jim he needs to go somewhere they can take care of him properly. As the ambulance pulls away with Jim inside, Dot promises she’ll still be there for him.

Mercy receives a date for her court hearing. Fatboy nearly confesses that Ashley informed on her for overstaying her visa, but bottles it when Jodie surprises them with a ‘Sten’ party.

Janine bonds with Lydia as they make fun of the Square’s residents together. Show less
