Big Bob's parenting skills are put to the test when he has to placate an irate Christina who's reeling from an argument with Molly. Gabriel has fallen behind on his rent, and is shocked when the estate agent arrives to change the locks on his shop, ABC. He manages to wangle a short stay of execution if he can raise a month's rent by 5pm. Shocked and irritable Liz chooses the wrong day to complain about a purchase and Gabriel sends her packing. Over at Malcolm and Liz's, Gabriel's friend Simon is fitting a burglar alarm, but when he overhears a gossipy Liz tell Malcolm about ABC's demise he visits Gabriel and proposes a solution. He'll pay the rent arrears and he and Gabriel can go into business together like they have been planning for years. They can use ABC as the premises for Simon's security business. Gabriel is thrilled at the reprieve and they toast their partnership in the pub. However when Liz arrives the war of words continues and Gabriel oversteps the mark. Realising that Gabriel has upset Liz, Jo demands he apologise to her. Gabriel visits Malcolm and Liz's to apologise but Liz refuses to say sorry back. On his way out Gabriel notices that their new alarm is a fake. Later Gabriel confronts Simon who seems to have an answer and justification for everything. Gabriel is sorely tempted to go along with the plot, until Simon mentions his plans to continue fleecing Malcolm and Liz and other local OAPs. Gabriel makes his decision- he gives up ABC and instead decides to give the money back to Malcolm and Liz. When Simon protests Gabriel punches him in front of an astonished Jo. Upon realising what Gabriel has done for them, Liz softens her stance towards Gabriel, and with him having lost the shop, she offers him a bed at her house for the foreseeable future.

Tattie has to go back to the Ukraine to finalise her divorce, and Bob finds himself jealous of the history she has with her soon to be ex-husband. Despite this, he agrees to scrape together the money for her flight to Ukraine, and also to look after Christina while she is gone. Molly is getting increasingly annoyed at her unwanted houseguests and tensions between her and Christina rise, culminating in Christina making arrangements to stay with a friend whilst Tattie is away. Elsewhere when Iona suggests he is being taken for a ride, Bob defends his position, but deep down fears there may be some truth in it. That is until Tattie sells her grandmother's ring to pay for the flights and tells Bob she loves him. Bob falters for a moment before reciprocating. With Tattie and Christina gone Molly is delighted to have the house back to herself, but she's shocked when Christina turns up - her alternative accommodation fell through so she's staying with Bob and Molly after all!

Deek's arrest last week over the counterfeit money found in the garage is still a hot topic of conversation in Montego Street. With Stella and Scarlett discussing how the situation is affecting Deek not to mention Bob's business, Jimmy feels increasingly guilty. Later when DI Donald arrives to ask questions about the garage, a nervous Jimmy struggles under interrogation. Elsewhere McCabe tells Fraser that Jimmy will no longer be his driver, and he's hooked him up with a new guy - Ross. Later McCabe's plan becomes clear, Ross is the new driver, as Jimmy is to be McCabe's drug courier and there's nothing he can do about it... Show less
