Jane and Ian viscously trade insults, until they realise Bobby’s clinging to them both and listening to every word. Jane realises she has to leave; she assures Bobby they can talk on the phone all the time, and he’ll have his own room when she finds somewhere to live. Ian finally realises how much pain he’s caused and begs Jane to stay, he wants what they once had. Regretfully telling Ian she doesn’t love him anymore, Jane walks out of the house and away from the Square.
Ronnie’s nervous when Roxy leaves her alone in the flat, especially when the phone starts ringing. When the intercom buzzes, Ronnie presumes it’s Roxy, but when she opens the door, there’s no-one there. Tanya startles Ronnie, Ronnie dashes back inside and finds Kat waiting for her. Kat tells Ronnie exactly what losing Tommy did to her, and how paranoid she is now she has him back. Ronnie tries to explain her side of the story, Kat insists she take her excuses and go, then threatens her. Ronnie starts to pack.
Seeing Masood’s guilty face, Zainab realises Ian was telling the truth. However, she covers, loudly asserting that Ian was just lashing out. Back at the Argee Bhajee, Zainab cheerfully organises a group photo of the family and staff. The restaurant opens and diners, including Denise and Kim, start to arrive. It’s not until Masood excitedly tries to hug Zainab that she reveals her true feelings. She believes Masood when he explains he turned Jane down, but tells him she knows he wanted the affair to happen. Still publicly pretending all is well, Zainab leaves, telling Masood to sleep at the restaurant, he can move out of their bedroom tomorrow and out of the house after Tamwar’s married. Show less
