Jimmy is woken early by a phone call from McCabe, he wants him to get rid of the last package he gave him, the one Jimmy stashed at the garage. Jimmy sneaks out and breaks in to the garage, but is spotted by Raymond. Raymond doesn't recognise him and calls the police to report the break in. The police arrive to investigate the call, but instead find the stash of fake money and arrest Deek. Deek protests his innocence, but at the station it is revealed that his fingerprints were all over the envelope. Raymond and Jimmy go to the station to talk to the police, but the DI is sure Deek is involved. He promises to go easy on Deek but only if he gives reveals the name of the big boss. Jimmy is sweating - he calls McCabe and tries to get him to do something to help, but Deek taking the fall suits McCabe too perfectly.

Murray is shocked to find a strange man walking round the flat - it's Simon, Jo's conquest from the night before. Before long the whole house is awoken, and seeing parents and children puts Simon off - he makes for the exit as soon as Jo's back is turned. Meanwhile, things aren't going great for Gabriel's business, but he's got a new partnership lined up - with Simon. When Jo finds out she thinks the two men are laughing at her behind her back, although Gabriel is genuinely upset at the idea of her being with Simon. In front of everyone, Jo gives Gabriel short shrift, despite the fact he'd been trying to protect her reputation.

It's a normal morning in the Brodie household until Michael receives an anonymous poison pen letter which reads 'Your daughter ruins lives'. He keeps it quiet, but when he finds another one at the surgery reading 'How do you sleep at night?' he decides to investigate. He assumes it must be Nick, so he speaks to Nicole and then Eileen, trying to get information from each but with little success. He soon finds out that Nick has moved to Brussels permanently, which means these letters postmarked Glasgow must be from somewhere and someone else. Show less
