Masood overhears Zainab on the phone arranging to meet someone. Suspicious, he follows her and sees her talking to Yusef. He confronts them, and Zainab’s annoyed that Masood doesn’t trust her. Later, Masood finds her in a café on the High Street. Zainab claims she’s meeting Bushra. Syed walks in, and Zainab apologizes to Masood for lying, but she had to see her son. Zainab urges Masood to end his feud with Yusef and accept the loan that he offered them, but Masood refuses. Zainab and Yusef appeal to Masood, Yusef wants to help them provide for Tam and Afia’s future. Masood’s hurt to discover that Zainab’s confided in Yusef about their problems. Zainab feels guilty, but later tells Yusef she still wants the loan.

Jean notices that Kat won’t call Tommy by his name. Alfie confronts her, Kat refuses to call him Tommy; ‘Tommy’ died, she’s already buried him. Mo’s team win the pub quiz and give the £1000 prize to Kat and Alfie.

Ian plans to win the pub quiz and take Jane away for the weekend. Ian texts Ben the quiz questions, trying to cheat. He’s discovered using his mobile and thrown out. Jane meets a man at the quiz, Martin, and flirts with him.

Dot starts a petition to bring back Community meals. She’s upset by the lack of interest.

Fat Boy’s worried when he notices an official looking man hanging around the market.

Ben tells Jay he’s lost his glasses, later Jay finds them in the bin, smashed. Kevin68 tells Heather his work mates have broken his glasses.

Ryan wants Whitney to get tested at a clinic and speak to the police. Whitney agrees to get tested, but isn’t ready to talk to the police yet. Show less
