The Square’s full of reporters; Ronnie’s case is all over the news. After Mo gives them cups of tea laced with laxatives, the reporters quickly disappear in search of vacant toilets.
Roxy attends court alone, Ronnie doesn’t ask for bail and is remanded in custody. Devastated, Jack stares at the only photo he has of baby James. Jack visits Ronnie wanting to know why she did what she did. Ronnie can’t really answer, simply saying she wanted her baby back. Ronnie insists she loves Jack, but he should forget her and find someone else, she doesn’t want to see him again.
Kat’s finding it hard to accept that Tommy’s her baby. She’s thrilled when Charlie visits. Charlie encourages Kat to start looking forward. They talk about the past, and Kat realises how much Charlie looked after Zoe. Charlie persuades Kat to hold Tommy.
Despite Max telling the whole family not to speak to the press, a Gazette reporter persuades Whitney to talk about Ronnie. Heather keeps Dot company during her launderette shift. Dot prays, feeling guilty about Ronnie.
Tanya avoids Max when he comes to collect Oscar. After she’s said goodbye to Abi and Lauren, Max corners Tanya, wanting her to admit what happened between them in the hospital meant something, but she just walks out, flustered.
Mercy returns from a spiritual retreat. When Ashley tells him Seb brought Mercy home, Fat Boy’s angry with Mercy for keeping secrets from him. Mercy’s upset, she can’t go on a French exchange as she only has a Nigerian passport and her visa’s run out. Ashley tells Fat Boy he could do better that Mercy, but Fat Boy insists he loves her. Ashley wants Fat Boy to stay at Uncle Darius’ with him, but Fat Boy refuses. Show less
