Shirley stays calm after Glenda’s revelation about sleeping with Phil. Phil tells Shirley it’s not true. Ian tries to persuade Jane to go on holiday with him, determined to get away from Glenda before she can spill the beans on their affair. Phil gives Ian money and tells him to get rid of Glenda. Ian gives Glenda a one way ticket to Paris. Initially, Glenda threatens to tell Jane about their affair, but then tells Ian she wouldn’t want anyone to know she slept with him. Heather tells Ben why Shirley is upset and Ben confronts Ian. Ian admits that Phil did have an affair with Glenda but Ben should keep quiet for Phil’s sake. Ben smashes up Phil’s car, angry that he has lied to Shirley.

Roxy throws Glenda out the flat. Roxy goes to Ronnie for support, they agree they don’t need her. Glenda turns to Ronnie, she has no-where to go, she emotionally blackmails Ronnie saying she’ll speak to Jack about her missing her counselling session.

Kat is suspicious that Martina has hit Shenice in the past, Martina is adamant that’s never happened. Shenice tries to steal cigarettes from the shop, Kat and Alfie confront a drunk Martina. She shouts at Shenice as Kat and Alfie stand in her way. Alfie and Kat want to treat Shenice to a special night in to make up for Martina’s behaviour.

Yusef and Afia visit to discuss arrangements for the wedding party. Zainab tells Masood he must support her and look to the future, rather than fretting about the past. Masood shakes Yusef’s hand to be civil, clearly still isn’t happy. Show less
