Jac is back at Holby and out to prove she can be a good leader, she bites her tongue and accepts the offer of mentoring new registrar, Sahira through her first day. But when Sahira proves not only is she a match for Jac but has history with Hanssen, Jac realises all may not be what it seems. Jac knows she has competition - but there's nothing she likes better - bring it on!

Ric gets the thumbs up for a new cancer drug and he's thrilled to have bought himself more time to see his grandson. But when he is pulled into the heartbreaking case of a young mum Ruby, who has rejected the drug, Ric is furious at the injustice and impulsively decides to give Ruby his prescription. But when Ruby's condition worsens, Ric realises his heroic gesture will be for nothing. Ric accepts that he can't help everyone and maybe it's time he helped himself.

Chrissie is feeling low on confidence and wonders if she has got what it takes to go for the top nursing job. The arrival of bone cruncher Dan, who refuses to listen to a humble nurse's opinion, doesn't help. But when Dan pushes Chrissie too far she snaps and rediscovers her mojo - maybe she has got what it takes to step up! Show less
