Jimmy wants to make sure everything's perfect for Scarlett's return. However, when he checks his mail he discovers that there are going to be compulsory redundancies at his work - not good news, especially as he phoned in sick again today. Scarlett returns, but the atmosphere is tense as no-one knows how to behave around her. Jimmy thinks that fussing and mollycoddling is the best approach but Scarlett clearly doesn't agree. She soon gets the two Bobs out from under her feet and gives Jimmy short shrift whenever he tries to be helpful. Jimmy feels powerless. Scarlett then asks Raymond to arrange a boy's night, making Jimmy feel even more out of the loop. He can't understand why Scarlett would rather spend time with her mother and sister than her husband.

At the poker game, Jimmy is struggling to open up while, conversely, Bob is struggling to keep his emotions in check. Meanwhile, Scarlett ropes Molly and Theresa into helping her clear out a box of mementos, which causes them to reminisce. Scarlett uses the smokescreen of a trip down memory lane to broach a difficult subject. She asks Molly and Theresa that if she ever gets too ill, they will help her end it all. Molly is aghast at Scarlett's request, but Theresa says she'll help. Just as the girls share a tender, if awkward, embrace Jimmy returns, interrupting them. He is immediately suspicious, but is told he's imagining things.

Jimmy resolves to find out what the girls were up to but both Molly and Theresa reveal nothing. Eventually he confronts Scarlett, telling her about his possible redundancy before asking if she has anything to share. Scarlett also comes clean. Jimmy can't believe it - why couldn't she come to him? Can't he cope? As Scarlett chases after Jimmy she bumps into Sean and Nicole, disturbing her wig. When Sean pokes fun, Jimmy loses his rag and flies at him. The fight is broken up by Gabriel, Michael and Leyla. Scarlett flees the scene. Jimmy finds Scarlett back at home and, in an emotional scene, promises her that he'll be there for her whatever she needs. Even if it means helping her to die.

Nicole is chuffed that Michael and Leyla are letting her have a birthday party but it all goes horribly wrong when no-one turns up. Carmen has turned all of Nicole's friends against her as revenge for stealing Sean. Things get worse when Michael and Leyla misconstrue the situation and think Nicole planned the evening to have time alone with Sean. In the morning, Nicole finds herself grounded. Her day is made worse when Adeeb points out that she is the subject of an online bullying campaign orchestrated by Carmen. When Adeeb teases her for this she blows up and attacks him. Her parents are furious, and - feeling that no one understands her - Nicole flees the house. She hooks up with Sean, but when they get involved in the fight with Jimmy in the street, she finds herself on the end of her parents' wrath once again. She ends up dumped by Sean and feeling more isolated than ever.

Gina is upset that she missed Scarlett's fundraising day and asks Joanne to organise another charity event that she can feel part of. Joanne isn't keen, but when Gabriel suggests that Gina ask Amber to organise a fashion show, she is spurred into action by jealousy and says that she'll sort it. She sets up an interview with the local paper, but is struggling to come up with any other concrete plans for the event. Gabriel suggests she ask Amber for help, but Joanne insists she can cope. Unconvinced, Gabriel goes behind Joanne's back and asks Amber to provide some clothes for the event. Joanne is struggling through her interview, caught out with her lack of detail, when Amber turns up and takes over. The interviewer, Claire, is much impressed with Amber and they all head off to Hola to have the photographs taken for the article. The next day Jo is stunned to read the paper and find that Amber has hogged the limelight, but even more upset that she has been wrongly represented as being 40-years-old. Joanne is furious that she has been usurped, but even angrier when she discovers that it was Gabriel who put Amber up to it. Show less
