Six Nations Rugby

2011

France v Scotland

Duration: 2 hours, 25 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Wales

John Inverdale hosts live action from the Stade de France, Paris, as the reigning Six Nations champions begin their quest for back-to-back titles.

Mathieu Bastareaud was the French hero in the 2010 contest; the centre ran in two tries to help the visitors secure an 18-9 victory at Murrayfield. The boot of Chris Paterson contributed all of the points for Andy Robinson's men. Scotland have only beaten France once before in Six Nations history. That win came five years ago in a 20-16 home victory.
