Ben confesses that he’s still being bullied. Phil arranges to talk to Ben’s Head of Year, Miss Underwood. Jane tries to find out what’s worrying Ian, but Ian tells her he’s in debt to a supplier. Ian asks Phil to reconsider. Phil makes Ian beg and humiliates him, but he still wants the money. Jane gives Ian £1000 from her credit card to help. To stop Phil from going to Ben’s school, Shirley gets Tanya to pretend to be the school secretary and cancel their appointment, and tells Miss Underwood to go to the Beale’s instead. Phil meets Glenda in an empty R&R. They’re kissing when he falls to the floor, unable to breathe. Ian walks in to deliver the £5000 and sees Phil helpless on the floor, gasping for help.

Ryan tries to warn Whitney away from Janine, but Whitney points out that Janine was there for her when Ryan wasn’t.

Ill with a terrible cough, Heather’s stressed out trying to cope with George and leaves him with Darren to look after. She asks if she can stay with Shirley as her boiler’s broken, but Phil refuses.

Darren feels left out when Jack plans to re-launch the car lot as ‘Branning Brothers’. He vents to Jodie, who reassures him he deserves better. When Max gives him the re-launch invites to post, Darren rips them up.

Christian wants to tell Roxy that they’ve changed their minds about the surrogacy but Syed stops him. Christian suggests that Roxy could take the morning after pill but Syed refuses, they’ll just have to hope it doesn’t work out.

The car job Phil sent Ryan on doesn’t go well, Phil has to deal with angry customers. Show less
