Kat retrieves Stacey and Lily’s passports from the Slaters’. Ryan insists Kat take him to Stacey’s hotel. Stacey seems terrified when Kat claims she hasn’t got the passports, but won’t tell Kat who she’s running away from. Ryan bursts into the room. Kat suggests they come back tomorrow, but then slips Stacey the passports. Back in the Square a casual remark from Kat convinces Ryan that Stacey’s planning to leave. He returns to the hotel in Dot’s car, and stops Stacey from getting in a cab, insisting he’ll drive her to the airport. Instead, he drives them to an empty quarry. Ryan insists he doesn’t want Janine and kisses Stacey passionately, she reciprocates and as things become more heated, Ryan lifts her onto the bonnet of Dot’s car.
Jane’s unimpressed by Ian’s plans to turn the Argee Bhajee into ‘Jane’s’. Tamwar’s still heartbroken; Zainab thinks the Argee Bhajee would be a good thing for him to focus on. Masood insists that buying the restaurant would be lunacy! Jane and Masood escape to a hotel together. When Ryan and Kat unexpectedly walk past, Masood and Jane kiss in an attempt to conceal themselves. Ian and Zainab wait together for the results of the sealed bid. Ian’s astonished when Zainab’s bid wins. Masood and Jane end up in a hotel room together, but quickly realise sleeping together isn’t a good idea.
Mo tries to scam Julie, and is annoyed when Billy takes Julie’s side. Mo and Julie then bicker in the Minute Mart. Dot enjoys Julie’s company and the women drink tea and fold sheets together in the Launderette. When Mo warns Dot about Julie, showing her Julie’s tag, Dot admonishes Mo for judging Julie. Later, Dot eats lunch alone. Show less
